The Austin Blockchain Collective is teaming with Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin to develop healthcare blockchain applications for better patient outcomes.

The two organizations are setting up the Austin Blockchain Collective Healthcare Working Group with membership to include local blockchain innovators from the Austin area.

“Austin’s blockchain innovators are excited to collaborate with their peers and the broad health ecosystem here to deliver on the promise of this transformational technology in healthcare,” said Pete Harris, executive director of the Austin Blockchain Collective, which was set up in March 2018 by 140 blockchain and crypto companies located locally.
