  • Connecticut/New York: A New York bankruptcy court has approved Purdue Pharma’s opioid-related settlement plan, which is worth at least $7.4 billion and will resolve mass lawsuits against the company for its role in the opioid crisis. According to the Wall Street Journal, the settlement will largely be funded by the Sackler family, the owners of Purdue Pharma.
