The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed the shortcomings of our healthcare systems and, unfortunately, its consequences have disproportionately befallen the poverty-stricken. As the wardens of public health seek to optimize health outcomes across the board, we must reflect on the arsenal of tools at our disposal and give considered eye to solutions for the disadvantaged.
