The for-profit provider now operates 27 urgent care clinics in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

For profit Ardent Health has acquired 18 urgent care clinics across New Mexico and Oklahoma from NextCare Urgent Care.

The transaction includes six urgent care clinics in New Mexico, which will operate as part of Lovelace Health System, and 12 clinics in Oklahoma that will become part of Hillcrest HealthCare System.

No financial details were disclosed.

The clinics are expected to be integrated into Ardent Health’s Epic EHR.
