Let me get this out of the way first: no, Apple has not announced the launch of any new health-related product lately. But an interesting article by Rob Litterst and Nathan Baschez, entitled “HealthOS: Apple is building an operating system for health”, touches on something I have been convinced about for some time, and which I have even used as an exam topic in some of my recent courses on innovation: the possibility that Apple, at some point, will decide to integrate its many initiatives in the field of health into some type of monitoring service.
