Association president notes proposed cut to physician reimbursement is disappointing, but there are other items to be aware of in next year’s plan by CMS.

The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published the draft 2025 Physician Fee Schedule on July 10.

Since then, doctors, medical organizations and others have focused on the proposed 2.8% reduction in physician reimbursement proposed for next year – understandably so. But the physician reimbursement rate was not the only change that CMS announced with the physician fee schedule.
