Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) has hired Ginna Baik as senior business development manager for senior living.

With the hire, Amazon brings on board someone with deep experience in senior living to help drive the Alexa Smart Properties business, focused on deploying Alexa-enabled voice technology at scale.

“I have been focused on senior living and technology for over a decade,” Baik said in a statement to Senior Housing News. “I am excited to join the Alexa Smart Properties team and bring my expertise to Amazon to continue to innovate on behalf of customers.”
