With the news of Amazon’s brand new medical care service flooding the media, we might be standing at the brink of a medical service revolution. Amazon has recently launched its pilot healthcare service called Amazon Care.

This digital service is currently only available to Amazon’s employees located in Seattle, the company’s prime geographical area. The service will provide both virtual and in-person healthcare through a telemedicine application.

The initiative for this project was first created in 2018 when J.P. Morgan and Berkshire Hathaway collaborated on forming a solution for handling their employees’ healthcare needs. Let’s not forget that Amazon is not the only one treading this path. Apple is another big player in this game, as they already provide remotely...
