Outpatient imaging provider Akumin has selected Lunit’s AI software, INSIGHT DBT, to support its nationwide breast cancer screening services.
The Lynnwood, Washington-based company said the tool will be deployed across its more than 150 fixed imaging sites in the U.S. as part of a broader effort to integrate AI into diagnostic workflows. The rollout will focus on improving efficiency and diagnostic accuracy in digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT), commonly known as 3D mammography.
