Multicloud and hybrid environments are the latest and greatest for businesses that aim for optimization, security and technological advancement. According to a February 2024 OVHcloud report, 62% of businesses already deploy a multicloud environment, and 64% plan to expand by 2026.

While businesses are moving toward these diverse cloud platforms, this doesn’t mean they’re immune to challenges and difficulties. Managing data brings common issues like inconsistencies, latency problems and obstacles with data synchronization between organizations, departments and platforms. With all of this distinct data, there are also major challenges with data governance and security, as different providers may have different compliance measures.
