Washington, D.C. – More than 26 million seniors choose Medicare Advantage (MA) because it provides better value and benefits than traditional Medicare, AHIP President and CEO Matt Eyles said on America’s Physician Groups’ podcast, APG on American Healthcare.

MA highlights the benefits of partnerships and collaboration to provide better outcomes at lower costs, Eyles said, and the COVID-19 crisis has underscored how valuable the program is. MA can also be an important driver in improving health equity, which Eyles said is probably the biggest issue facing health care today.
