Aetna will offer a home health visit from Signify Health to Medicare Advantage beneficiaries at no extra cost as part of the payer’s coverage changes for 2024.
The annual “healthy home visit” will include a comprehensive health risk assessment and noninvasive physical exam in the member’s home, as well as an evaluation of the home environment to identify any health risks or social support needs.
“Our experience shows Medicare consumers want more than just a one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare,” Aetna Medicare President Terri Swanson said in an Oct. 1 news release.
