Health systems have been partnering with Big Tech on artificial intelligence-powered clinical documentation and cybersecurity. Here are eight collaborations Becker’s has reported on in the past month.

1. The DAX AI clinical documentation “co-pilot” from Microsoft subsidiary Nuance is integrated into Epic Haiku, the EHR vendor’s mobile app, and being used by over 150 clinicians a month at Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Health, Becker’s reported June 21.

2. Greenwood (Miss.) Leflore Hospital and Rolling Fork, Miss.-based Sharkey Issaquena Hospital have entered into a cybersecurity partnership with Microsoft, the Greenwood Commonwealth reported June 20, after the Biden administration secured commitments from Microsoft and Google to offer free and low-cost cybersecurity resources to rural hospitals.
