AdventHealth Daytona Beach has commenced a $220 million multi-phased expansion project that will add 104 inpatient beds, four surgical suites, and more than 240,000 square feet to the facility.

The construction involves vertical expansions on two existing towers: a four-story addition on one tower and a one-story addition on another. Upon completion, the hospital will expand from 362 to 466 inpatient beds and will encompass nearly 1 million square feet. The number of surgical suites will increase from 18 to 22.
