Although the coronavirus crisis is (rightly) receiving most of the attention and action in federal and state health policy, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) continue to issue new guidance and materials, on coronavirus but also other subjects. This post summarizes recent Affordable Care Act (ACA)-related coronavirus guidance, Pennsylvania’s application for a waiver under Section 1332, new information on enhanced direct enrollment (EDE), and new marketplace materials as insurers prepare for the 2021 plan year.
