Employee well-being matters; every HR person has an inbox full of offers for mediation apps and other services to improve the mental health of their workforce. But apps alone won’t move the needle on mental health.

The data doesn’t lie. Research continually shows happier employees are more productive and stay with their employees longer. The need for employers to focus on employee well-being is urgent. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to jeopardize the mental, emotional and financial health of today’s workers. According to the CDC, 41% of adults are dealing with a mental health issue due to the pandemic and the effects of the pandemic will persist long after we achieve herd immunity.
