Meditech is looking to improve its Expanse EHR platform with the addition of conversational and generative AI.

This announcement came during the company’s annual leadership conference, Meditech Live, which kicked off on Sept. 25.

Helen Waters, executive vice president and COO of Meditech, emphasized the importance of alleviating clinicians’ burdens so they can prioritize patient relationships.

“As an industry, it is imperative that we unburden clinicians so they can focus on what matters most — the relationships with their patients,” she said.

Ms. Waters highlighted Meditech’s commitment to transforming the clinician experience by addressing current challenges through personalization, mobility, and the infusion of ambient listening and AI technologies to reduce documentation burdens.
