The Apple Vision Pro has not been a smash hit but Vivo plans to announce a high-flying alternative headset next year.

Many folks in the West may not appreciate what an important name Vivo is elsewhere either. Vivo is the biggest smartphone brand by shipments in China and India according to Counterpoint Research.

At a recent launch event in China, Vivo announced its intention to launch a mixed reality headset in 2025 according to a Weibo poster, although there’s still a while to wait for it.
