Medicare Advantage beneficiaries in a few states could see increased supplemental benefits or reduced cost sharing in 2025, according to estimates from Berkeley Research Group.

According to estimates published Feb. 26, beneficiaries in most states would see their benefits cut or increased cost sharing in 2025. Insurers are likely to cut back on benefits because CMS’ proposed benchmark payment rates do not offset rising medical costs, according to BRG’s report.
