Colleges and universities are updating and launching nursing programs to help combat nursing shortages.

Here are seven organizations updating, expanding or opening nursing programs:

  1. The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Abramson Family Center for Nursing Excellence, both based in Philadelphia, launched a Diversity Nurse Leader Fellowship Program.
  2. Bozeman-based Montana State University’s Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing received nearly $4 million to increase the number of qualified clinical nursing faculty and preceptors across HHS Region 8, which includes Montana, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and...
