A handful of ASCs have changed hands in 2023, due to factors including health system bankruptcy filings.

Here are seven ASCs that have changed or are trying to change hands in 2023:

1. Central Maine Health Ventures, a subsidiary of Auburn-based Central Maine Healthcare, is attempting to acquire full ownership of its ASC, Central Maine Orthopaedics Ambulatory Surgical Center in Auburn.
