Here are six hospitals and health systems that have opened or have plans to open ASCs that Becker’s has reported on since Sept. 26:
1. Advocate Health Care is constructing a 60,000-square-foot medical center inside of a shopping mall in Chicago that will include office space, immediate care and an ASC.
2. On Oct. 9, Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health and Billings-based Ortho Montana broke ground on the Gallatin Valley Surgery Center in Bozeman, Mont. Intermountain is also poised to open an orthopedic-focused ASC in Park City, Utah.
