CMS recently fined six hospitals for alleged price transparency violations, according to an update on its price transparency enforcement website.

The hospitals are:

  1. CCM Health (Montevideo, Minn.): $55,611.
    The hospital has 30 or fewer beds, according to its fine notice. CMS imposed the penalty Feb. 11.
  2. D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital (Brewton, Ala.): $71,852.
    The hospital has 46 beds. CMS imposed the fine Feb. 11. McMillan is appealing the fine.
  3. Southeast Regional Medical Center (Kentwood, La.): $32,301.
    The hospital has 30 or fewer beds. CMS imposed the penalty Feb. 11. Southeast Regional is appealing the fine.
  4. Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital (Brick, N.J.): $120,120.
    The hospital has 60 beds. CMS imposed the penalty Feb. 24.
