The COVID-19 pandemic — along with all of its ramifications for treating other diseases — continued to dominate hospital agendas. Mental health, obesity and substance use disorders were also cited frequently across the country. Social isolation augmented by the pandemic and social determinants of health like food insecurity were concerns for health systems, too.
