Capitol Technology University professor Mary Aiken is a titan in the emerging field of cyberpsychology, which examines how technology influences human behavior. She was one of the first people to apply cyberpsychology to those committing digital crimes, and now serves as a member of the INTERPOL Global Cybercrime Expert Group, and as an academic advisor to Europol’s European Cyber Crime Center. Relying on cyberpsychology research, she’s helped such law enforcement agencies to steer young users away from committing crimes on the internet, and to analyze the online activities of organized crime groups.
