Hello, and welcome to the Future in 5 Questions. This week we spoke with Justin Sherman, a data privacy expert who has led research on how companies collect and sell people’s personal information. He previously founded and ran a research program on the data broker industry at Duke University and is the founder of Global Cyber Strategies, which consults on cybersecurity, privacy and tech policy issues. This fall, he will be an adjunct professor at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service where he will specialize in open-source intelligence, commercial data, and U.S. national security policy.
