A handful of major behavioral health acquisitions have been announced in the first weeks of 2025, including deals in telehealth, inpatient care and community living.

Here are five deals in January to note:

  1. Austin, Texas-based Iris Telehealth acquired telepsychiatry provider innovaTel from Quartet Health, the company said in a Jan. 21 news release. The acquisition makes Iris Telehealth one of the largest telepsychiatry providers in the U.S., the company said.
  2. BrightSpring Health plans to sell its community living business to Sevita in an $835 million deal, the company said Jan. 21. Louisville, Ky.-based BrightSpring operates more than 2,000 residential homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral conditions.
