Risant Health, the nonprofit formed by Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, has added several leaders in 2025, including a chief medical information officer.

Formed in 2023, Risant — based in Washington, D.C. — aims to “expand and accelerate the adoption of value-based care in “diverse, multipayer, multiprovider, community-based health system environments.” Last year, it completed the acquisition of its first two health systems, Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger and Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health.
