CMS gave 31 Medicare Advantage five-star ratings for 2024, the highest rating for quality and member satisfaction awarded by the agency.

Fewer plans received a five-star rating for 2024 than for 2023. According to CMS documents published Oct. 13, 57 plans received the top rating for 2023.

The average star rating across all Medicare Advantage plans for the 2024 contract year is 4.04, down from 4.14 in 2023.

Here are the 31 contracts that received top ratings from CMS for 2024, along with their total enrollment:
