Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health is preparing to implement systemwide ambient digital scribing after piloting the technology with 300 providers across multiple disciplines, according to a Rochester Business Journal Sept. 3 report.
The AI-powered tool captures visit conversations via smartphone, generating components of clinical notes to reduce documentation burden and enhance patient engagement. Providers reduced documentation time by 25% and were half as likely to report consistent symptoms of burnout.
