Here is a state-by-state breakdown of 22 physician practice closure Becker’s reported on in 2024:

Alabama

• Montgomery, Ala.-based Southeastern Cardiology officially closed in May following ongoing closure rumors.

Arkansas

• Saint Mary’s Physician Services closed its clinic in Atkins, Ark., on Dec. 19. One of the physicians at the Millard-Henry Clinic of Atkins, family medicine physician Timothy Johnson, MD, will be leaving the clinic for an administrative position with the state of Arkansas.

Georgia

• The Dayton, Ga.-based private practice of OB-GYN Paul Pawlosky, MD, will be closing Dec. 31.
