Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota is among the top five employers for women in the U.S., according to Forbes.

The magazine published its annual list of America’s Best Employers for Women July 23. The rankings are based on a survey of more than 150,000 women working at companies with 1,000 employees or more. The list weighs factors including working environment, pay equity, parental leave and how likely employees were to recommend their current and previous employers.

Sixteen health insurers made the list.
