- Kaiser Permanente is entering the Nevada market through a joint venture with Reno-based Renown Health and will form a new health insurance entity with Renown’s Hometown Health plan.
- Humana’s CenterWell has been approved to acquire the assets of The Villages Health, the health system serving The Villages retirement community in Florida.
- Cambia Health Solutions and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota plan to enter a strategic affiliation that would bring the Fargo-based insurer under Cambia’s management while maintaining its local governance and mutual status.
- UnitedHealth Group completed its acquisition of home health and hospice provider Amedisys in August.
