Thirteen healthcare organizations using Epic’s software are now connected to a federally backed health information network.

The organizations began participating in the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement in August, an Epic spokesperson told Becker’s. TEFCA is a government-led initiative launched in 2022 to establish a nationwide standard for sharing electronic health data.
