Google has been doubling down on its healthcare ventures by investing in partnerships and technologies, from using artificial intelligence in diagnostics to creating science videos.

Here are 10 of Google Health’s innovations as reported by The Motley Fool April 7:

  1. Google recently earned FDA approval for an EKG app that uses data from Google-owned Fitbit to detect atrial fibrillation.
  2. Google partnered with CVS MinuteClinic to help consumers book health appointments through a Google search.
  3. Google uses artificial intelligence to create Automated Retinal Disease Assessment, a program that can detect diabetic retinopathy.
  4. It is running a similar program called Derm Assist where it has trained an AI to detect skin issues such as signs of skin cancer....
