Below are 10 ASC moves in Florida that Becker’s has reported on since Nov. 15:

  1. Pompano Beach, Fla.-based South Florida Same Day Surgery Center has opened.

  2. Melbourne, Fla.-based Health First has terminated plans to construct a $500 million “wellness village” in Merritt Island, Fla., which was set to include an ASC, medical office buildings, hospital and retail space.

  3. Florida-based multispecialty physician group Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches has acquired Palm Beach Digestive Associates.

  4. The ASC at Hudson, Fla.-based Bonati Spine Institute has been shut down after the state suspended its license.
