Four health tech companies were awarded a $1 billion remote patient monitoring contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Cognosante, DrKumo, Medtronic Care Management Services, and Valor Healthcare each got minimum $100,000 contracts for a period of at least two years and six option periods. They will provide remote monitoring and home telehealth for more than 72,000 VA patients with chronic and acute care needs.
