– The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has set up an innovation center that will build health IT infrastructure to foster more efficient healthcare communication, collaboration, and engagement to support innovative work throughout the organization.

The National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation (NCCHI) will be located within the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) in California.

The center will also work to improve clinical decision support and clinical workflow efficiencies, as well as incorporate artificial intelligence in healthcare.
