Bingham Farms, Mich.-based United Physicians and Agilon Health have entered a long-term partnership to transition United’s primary care delivery system for Medicare Advantage patients to a full-risk value-based care model.

Agilon assists providers with transitioning to value-based care models, according to a May 3 press release. The Austin, Texas-based company announced a long-term partnership with Portland-based MaineHealth in March.

United Physicians represents more than 1,900 providers throughout Southeast Michigan, including 400 primary care providers. By 2023, Agilon will have 23...
