Data Analytics companies raise over $1.3 billion during the first nine months of 2020

Healthcare Data Analytics companies received $1.3 billion in venture capital in the first nine months (9M) of 2020, according to Mercom Digital Health Funding and M&A Report. Most of the funding went into early-stage Seed and Series A rounds.

Of the $1.3 billion raised during 9M, 37% was raised by AI-powered healthcare analytics companies.

GV (formerly Google Ventures) and Oak HC/FT led the (healthcare) data analytics financing activity during 9M 2020, with each investing in three rounds. Other investors who made multiple investments include btov Partners, Summit Partners, McKesson Ventures, Section 32, and Andreessen Horowitz.
