As chief nursing officer at the American Hospital Association, my job is to represent the perspectives of over 2 million nurses who work in hospitals and health systems across the country. They rely on me to tell their stories so others might know what it’s like to walk a day in their shoes and ultimately, make more informed decisions when it comes to how policies are implemented, or how resources are allocated.
