Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital launched a new “mission control” center Aug. 20 to improve patient care and cut costs with the help of artificial intelligence and predictive analytics.

The CareComm center, developed in partnership with GE Healthcare, features 20 “tiles” running apps using AI and predictive analytics to monitor patient flow and provide decision-making support to clinicians.
