There is widespread concern among the American public about cyberattacks on U.S. institutions, according to a poll, and nearly all reported being at least somewhat concerned about healthcare systems falling victim to cyberattacks.

According to a poll conducted by Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts at the University of Chicago/AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, there is widespread concern among the American public about cyberattacks on U.S. institutions.

The poll included 1071 adults, aged 18 and older, representing the 50 states and the District of Columbia between September 9 and September 13, 2021.
