Medicaid and CHIP enrollment increased by 22.1 percent between February 2020 and January 2022, according to a May 2 report from the Kaiser Family Foundation.

States ranked from highest to lowest percentage increase in Medicaid and CHIP enrollees between February 2020 and January 2022:

1. Oklahoma: 60 percent

2. Nebraska: 43.3

3. Utah: 41.5

4. Missouri: 37.3

5. Nevada: 34.9

6. Colorado: 32.7

7. Hawaii: 31.3

8. New Hampshire: 30.4

9. Maine: 29.7

10. Virginia: 29.6
