The EHR vendors are each adding new apps to their developer programs and marketplaces targeting referral management, personalized medicine and wound care, respectively.

Several new partnerships were announced this week between legacy electronic health record vendors and smaller tech firms offering services and capabilities across a variety of clinical and operational use cases.

Allscripts approves third-party referral automation platform for EHR

Allscripts has approved a third-party integration with a patient-provider match tool, ReferralPoint, for use with the Allscripts Professional EHR and Allscripts Practice Management platforms.
