Virtual reality company Perspectus is partnering with the University of Charleston (W.Va.) to launch a virtual reality lab where students can study human anatomy.

The lab features 30 computers and headsets. Students have an opportunity to use the lab in its fall 2022 soft launch; however, the lab will be more widely used in spring 2023, according to the Sept. 15 Perspectus news release.

During tests of Perspectus VR at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, 87 percent of students came away with a better spatial understanding of human anatomy.
