Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives continue to finalize the Build Back Better Act, a legislative package being pursued through the budget reconciliation process. Passage of the bipartisan infrastructure framework on November 5, 2021 sets the stage for consideration of the Build Back Better Act package in mid-November.

This is my third post on the coverage provisions included in the Build Back Better Act, which has changed over time in response to concerns about the overall cost and scope of the legislation.
