I reluctantly bought the Oura Ring earlier this year after I weighed all my options for sleep tracking—but I’m glad I did. I was unsatisfied with the sleep tracking that came with the Google Home Hub and was left wanting more. Since I already had a smartwatch, I didn’t feel that a bigger fitness tracking device like a Whoop was necessary. I prefer to wear my watch for workouts, step tracking, and so on. Why not just wear the smartwatch to bed? I tried it, but I found that it’s just too uncomfortable.
