Home urine lab, a sleep mask that tracks eye movements and a self-rechargeable health tracker – among many wearables and tech premieres at Consumer Electronic Show CES 2023, we’ve selected the most exciting ones.

Withings – a French consumer electronics company specializing in smart scales, smartwatches and other health technologies – unveiled a home urine lab. The sensor located in the toilet bowl tracks:

  • LH (Luteinizing Hormone) for precise menstrual cycle prediction & ovulation window determination;
  • Specific gravity for water balance;
  • pH for protein-vegetable balance.

This is the first device on the market that allows for ongoing urine analysis at home and potentially a breakthrough in preventing many diseases – human urine contains more than 3,000 metabolites.
