The mobile health clinics will deliver preventive care access and screenings to neighborhoods in Utah. The clinics will focus on low-income and senior populations.

Optum is bringing healthcare right into Utah’s backyard, rolling out a new Optum Mobile Health Clinic to improve care access for individuals in Optum Care Network Utah.

The mobile health clinic, a 45-foot-long vehicle with two private exam rooms, a waiting room, and an imaging lab, is set to address the leading care access barriers experienced by Utahns. Optum leaders said patients regularly encounter scheduling issues, work commitments, and transportation barriers that limit their access to primary or preventive care, an issue that can be disastrous should a serious diagnosis be missed.
